EXPERIENCE
Kayla is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey. She is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Southern District of New York and the Eastern District of New York.
Kayla has represented corporate and individual clients in a broad range of employment matters, including workplace investigations, Title VII claims, and complex internal disputes. Her ability to frame and argue legal issues related to whistleblowing and workplace ethics has made her a trusted advisor to both individuals and organizations. Whether drafting strategic legal memoranda or advising on confidential reporting mechanisms, she brings clarity, precision, and a strong grounding in both legal precedent and professional responsibility.
PASSION
Kayla is passionate about workplace justice, international human rights, and access to legal representation. Her pro bono work spans voting rights litigation, immigration advocacy, and efforts to overturn wrongful convictions. She is also dedicated to mentorship and legal education through her role as an adjunct professor at Howard University School of Law.

Kayla is an avid traveler and has been to over 24 countries. When not abroad, you can find her walking around New York City visiting museums and plant shops.
